Our lecturers enrich teaching at the IfKW with their diverse perspectives, practical experience, and expertise. They complement our regular course offerings with insights into current communication practices, new research priorities, and professional fields of application. We appreciate the commitment of everyone who contributes to teaching at IfKW—whether through seminars on innovative topics, practical workshops, or in-depth methodological studies. Together with our lecturers, we enable students to understand, reflect on, and practically shape communication in all its facets.
If you are interested in teaching at the IfKW or have any questions about existing teaching positions, please contact our representative for lecturers, Dr. Antonia Markiewitz.

We welcome exchanges with companies, organizations, and institutions from the fields of media, communication, research, and practice. Together with our students and faculty, we create interfaces between science and practice—open, collaborative, and future-oriented.
Through our job board at IfKW, we support students in their search for internships, working student positions, and entry-level jobs. Publishing job advertisements is free of charge for companies. If you would like to advertise a position, please contact us by email.
In our course “Career Fields in Communication Studies”, experienced practitioners from the press, broadcasting, film, PR, advertising, research, and management provide insights into their working world. The course is primarily aimed at students at the beginning of their studies and offers them valuable guidance for the rest of their studies—and you the opportunity to get to know future young talent.
The IfKW does not conduct traditional contract research. However, we welcome opportunities for collaboration and synergies with our research projects and areas of focus. If you have an idea for a collaboration, please contact the relevant departments directly (click here).
